Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, timezone, and a securely hashed password.
  • Connected accounts: access tokens issued by Meta and Google, stored encrypted, plus the names and IDs of the Pages, Instagram accounts, and YouTube channels you select.
  • Content: posts, captions, schedules, and the images and videos you upload.
  • Publishing records: the status and error messages of each publishing attempt.
  • Session data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in.

How we use it

We use your data only to provide the service: to sign you in, show your connected destinations, store your content, and publish it to the destinations you choose at the time you choose. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Meta and Google data

We access Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube only through their official APIs and only with the permissions you grant. Social Studio’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Where it is stored

Account and post data are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase. Media files are stored in Cloudflare R2. Our API runs on Cloudflare Workers. These providers process data on our behalf.

Retention and deletion

You can disconnect any destination from Social accounts at any time, which stops all publishing to it. You can also revoke access from your Facebook business integrations or your Google account permissions. To delete your Social Studio account and all associated data, contact us. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.

Security

Tokens are encrypted at rest, passwords are hashed, and sessions use HttpOnly cookies. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for material changes, notify you by email.
